Falling in LAUV- Moments Soaked in Music #w6

           I suppose everyone has a few things that supports you to go through toughest moments. As for me, music takes a large part in comforting and healing me. I think there are all kinds of music that's suitable in every situation and emotions. (although I listen to some specific singers only💂) In this week's blog post, I'll be sharing some of my concert experiences and stories~~~👯I have a tiny principle: I go to MY FAVORITE SINGERS' concerts only. My definition of "favorite" is when I can recognize almost every song of his or hers. 

           murmur: Okay I'm here again after I finished writing this article. And I discover again that I spoken too much to do another singer. 😑💁Yay, second episode of music for life next time~~~✌= =

LAUV- the between albums tour (2023/08/31)

                     

            Being one of Lauv's SUPER FAN, I decided to go to his concert without hesitation right after seeing his post. It was actually a pretty awkward timing. First, our college entrance exam was in just a few months later. Second, it was in the middle of the week. Last, his concert was held in Taipei. As a student in Kaohsiung, there were so many obstacles stopping me from going to his concert.😭😭💣No matter what, I decided to try to get a ticket before worrying about these afterwards. In the first chance of my ticket rushing, I FAILED. I even raised my hand to tell the teacher that I NEEDED TO GO POO SO BAD just a few minutes before break because I needed to go outdoor to prepare and have a better internet connection. (raising my hand for bathroom was really hard for a susususuper introvert like me😑😒) Yeah but I still failed after my effort😑💀Let's just skip to the conclusion. I GOT A TICKET IN THE NEXT DAY. However, besides the trouble I mentioned above, I had a homeroom teacher who's extremely hard on us. We had to go to school no matter what (only besides the situation if we were about to die or we were having upset stomachs) THAT'S WHY I MADE UP A MESSAGE TO HER THAT I COULDN'T STOP GOING TO THE BATHROOM BECAUSE OF MY RUNNING STOMACH. (as a WELL-BEHAVED STUDENT, my teacher believed me immediately) (I hated my homeroom teacher, plus, I never asked for a leave before this, so I didn't feel guilty at all😇) OH by the way, I even started a trip alone in Taipei those days, but it's just another story. 

            This was my very first concert and my first experience of going to a concert alone. As my very first experience, I would say it was actually a pretty bad one, but Lauv's music left all the bad emotions behind. I was in the A zone, which was the closest to the stage. However, the staffs that day SUCKS. We, (a few hundred or thousand people) who paid the most in the entire center, were not being able to enter. That's why I didn't have the chance to get to listen to ALEXANDER 23. No matter what, Lauv's voice and his piano was INCREDIBLY AMAZING. Despite a few really noisy tone-deaves screaming in my ears, yeah, the music was a big feast for my ears. 

                           

            I could never choose A FAVORITE SONG. And I admit, even though I love his songs sosososo much, there are indeed a few songs that I would skip every time my spotify plays my playlist randomly. (yes, not a member of spotify premium) However, there are several songs I love although I've listened to them for about million times. Those are my hidden love songs because I don't usually like recommending my favorite artists and songs to others.💁💅💆

          Superhero- "I met a superhero. I lost her. I want her back." This was written on a piece of paper in a collected box where his fans could share stories in. 

          Lonely Eyes- "She had her heart broken. Truth is I never had mine."

          Chasing Fire- "We keep our bodies tied together, to ignore what's coming next." 

          Changes- "Changes, they might drive you half-insane. But it's killing you to stay the same. But it's all gonna work out, it's all gonna work out someday." 

          Enemies- "I'm so sick of planning all my nights, nights. 'Round avoiding you, it's gotta end."

           I just go check my playlist to see if I missed any of my most favorites when I realize, again, all of them are the bests. Although above are my favorites in my favorites, I have to announce again that every single song in this album is FREAKING AMAZING. 

           OH DID I MENTION THAT LAUV ANNOUNCED THAT HE WOULD HAVE A CONCERT IN KAOHSIUNG AFTER HIS TICKETS IN TAIPEI SOLD OUT? 👹👹👹AND HIS TICKETS IN KAOHSIUNG DID NOT SOLD OUT, SO I WAS EXTREMELY FURIOUS. 😊ONE OF MY FRIEND EVEN SHAKE HANDS WITH HIM. I COULDN'T BEAR THIS EVERY TIME RECALLING THIS. 

           Music really saves people. Every single time people asks me what my favorite album is, I answer: "I Met You When I Was 18." Lauv's songs were the very first songs that I feel touched and healed. His songs then were kind of blue and depressed, but they seem to be telling me that it's okay to be sad sometimes. Lauv's music style has changed a lot. Maybe it's because he succeeded in facing the true him, or to finally gotten better through time. Although I have been soaking into many different types of amazing music and in love with many more artists, I would never forget he being the very first "story teller" who I fell in LAUV.
