If You Want To Cry recently, These Two Movies Are Good Options #w11

I ain't that kind of person who recommends movies so much. (definitely not talking about Hannah) Well, the biggest reason definitely resulted from my poor writing skill!~ Every time watching a good movie, I felt filled with emotions. However, I just couldn't write a good article describing how good it was. (maybe I should learn from HANNAH MONTANA since she has been doing movie recommendations for sooo long) Nothing! It's just me envying her precised description along with deep meanings. 😒😑😐

OK back to my point... I recommended Nia, Kelly, and Jovanna a few movies this two weeks, and it wasn't just a recommendation. We watched the movies in my dorm room with lights off so we could enjoy the creepy and cozy atmosphere more😋😋Since I watched these movies for at least three times and I still sobbed when watching them again, okay.... I'll try to share them with you💪💀💂but i'm not going to share their endings with you because it wouldn't surprise you if I do so.

By the way, I need to admit that I don't like local movies that much because I always find the actors looking awkward... but when a local movie can impress me, i would say it's definitely worth giving it a try! 👐👐

1.Man In Love 當男人戀愛時👋

阿成, the male lead in the story is responsible for debt collection. Once when he's collecting debt, he met 浩婷, who inherited her father's debt. 阿成 fell in love with her at first sight. He's a rude gangster; however, as the story goes, 浩婷 begin to realize that he's actually kind, and even pays for the people who's supposed to be owing him money. As 浩婷 slowly let down her guard to him, their lives seemed to be on track and getting better. WELL BUT THAT'S NOT THE END... I'll say this story truly shows that there's not always a happy ever after.

I think one of the most memorable foreshadowing is at the first scene, when 阿成 was collecting debt from a 宮廟主(?). The 宮廟主 said he had no money to pay off, and his son even needed money for his foot surgery. Everyone seeing this would say this 宮廟主 was definitely lying, but 阿成 not only didn't ask him for his debt, he even gave him more money for his son's need. In a scene afterwards, I saw this 宮廟主 supporting his son along the way because his son had a broken leg. I know it's not an important plot, but this just stays in my head.

Although it's a pretty classic romantic movie which you can predict what might happen next, it's still a Taiwanese movie that's worth a try! By the way, even though it appears to be a romantic movie, the two times I cried the hardest was when 浩婷's father passed away and when I found out 阿成's father had signs of dementia... DON'T KILL ME WITH A FAMILY KNIFE😩😩(殺我別用親情刀。)

The best part of this movie is that 阿成浩婷married in reality~~~I'm glad that their love can remain in this way💁Also, I really really love the soundtrack of this movie. 愛情你比我想的閣較偉大is an absolute masterpiece in Taiwanese songs. I started to have a taste in Taiwanese songs after listening to this band. (茄子蛋~~~)(I recently love 擱愛你一擺as well)

2.Hello Ghost 我的麻吉四個鬼

This is a really interesting movie. It started out ridiculous and would not let anyone want to keep on with it. I kept telling Nia and Jovanna to wait and hold on for the ending- when the truth reveals. And indeed, their reaction wasn't to my surprise😏😏😏😏They cried so hard. Jovanna cried out loud and Nia had puffy eyes the next day. MY PLAN WORKED. (but they also blamed me really hard on that 😗😚)

It's not a typical story. Although there's this word "ghost" in the movie name, it's not even close to scary. (highly recommended to those afraid of horror movies) It starts with 阿偉, the male lead, tried to suicide for more than 21 times but failed every time. By chance, four ghosts came to him and asked him to finish their wishes with them. Okay I'll say I couldn't talk more about it. This is truly a ridiculous story at first, but PLEASE, ANYONE WATCHING THIS MOVIE, PLEASE, I BEG YOU TO HOLD ON TO THE ENDING, IT WON'T DISAPPOINT YOU.

By the way, it also owns a really nice and touching soundtrack from 韋禮安. I really recommend listen to this sound and MV after watching the film, you will cry harder.

I think besides the plot, the male character was a slight flaw. I think he talks awkwardly, and that makes me feel disconnected with the movie.(the funniest part is that everyone besides him acts nicely) but I heard someone say that his poor talking ability can be referred to this character's personality since he hasn't get in touch with people for a long time. yeah... i can try to accept this explanation...

BY THE WAY, there's still a series i want to re-watch and recommend with them. i'll share it with you after i re-watched it~~ (比悲傷更悲傷的故事影集版) I personally prefer on the series version than the movie one. (also it's soundtrack is amazing as well) (有一種悲傷and你不屬於我) If your not interested in the film, at least go check out the songs... I think a very important reason for a movie to be recognized by people is MUSIC.

  2. DID I JUST WITNESS SOMEONE MENTION ME IN THEIR STORY???
    MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.😩😩😭😭

I’ll admit that I don’t really like to watch local films like you do. It’s always the same actors and those awkward lines that nobody actually says in real life. I’ve heard of these movies before, but I’ve never actually watched them.
Anyway, I think you’re kind of crazy for rewatching them at least three times. YOU SHOULD WATCH THEM WITH ME FOR THE FOURTH TIME SO WE CAN CRY TOGETHER.🙄🙄

  4. Hey? I also have the first 15 minutes of participating 當男人戀愛時, okay? You should write me down 😔🤨!!!From the content you described to me the next day, I can know that you really love當男人戀愛時🍿🍿 Although I saw it about four years ago, I really don‘t remember the content at all... I still prefer the handmade cookies that day to the movie. I hope there will be cookies to eat next time! WHAT DO YOU WANT TO WATCH NEXT TIME? I WILL TRY MY BEST TO ATTEND THE MOVIE NIGHT (IF BIG COOKIE DOESN’T APPEAR). NEXT TIME I WILL BRING TOY PAPER TO YOUR DORM, SO THAT YOU DON‘T CRY TO USE OUT THE TOIT PAPER... 😀
(I accidentally turned on the capital keyboard. I‘m too lazy to change it back.)

  5. I have watched the first movie in the cinema with my first love, and I remember that I cried a lot in the end. For me, that was an unforgettable memory because of crying in front of her; however, I have to say that , if u want to cry, this movie will definitely help you( a lot). Although I almost forget the content of the movie, u used simple words to make me re-memorize the movie structure.
