Super Not Horror Movies #w13

         As a sususususper fan of horror movies, I love watching them with my friends. That's why this week I'll be introducing some horror movies I watch recently!!👯👹(but since I'm also afraid of those too scary ones, my pick wouldn't be too terrifying for horror movie beginners) (but still, highly recommend to watch with your friends) I watch American horror movies more often because their terrifying atmosphere wouldn't last after watching it. (if you couldn't get what I'm saying... I mean you wouldn't be afraid of going to bathrooms at midnight or having nightmares) 

        By the way, I wanted to put pictures but I'm afraid some may get scared. 👹👹💃💅

1.IT (first episode)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤡🗡

        I think IT creates an intense atmosphere throughout the movie. To me, the pace and the plots are all nice and smooth. IT refers to a clown name Pennywise. IT lives by eating kids' souls(?) I personally think clowns are ugly and scary, but in this movie, I felt tense but not too terrifying. In the film, the main characters want to find out why and where Georgie disappeared in the gutter. I think the first scene of this movie is shocking. Georgie was playing with his paper boat in a rainy day when IT comes up to him in the gutter and pulls him down with a puddle of blood left on the ground. Well, but I got to say there's many classic scenes in it. I watched two or three times maybe? and it's still on my re-watch list. (maybe that's the reason why I don't find it so scary) 

2.The Shining ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

        Speaking of the most classic horror movie, I have to mention The Shining. The film creates a massive mental stress when watching it. I don't even think there's any scary elements in it. Also, since it's a pretty old movie, the music sounds even scarier to me. I watched it alone in the first time and I was being too afraid that I turned the sound off.😐The story is about a family need to stay in a faraway hotel when it's closed for six months. In the mean time, the writer (and father) Jack is slowly swallowed by the bad souls hidden in the hotel and he begins to have the thought of killing his son and wife. I think the actor playing the Jack role is super impressive because I couldn't be sure at which specific moment did Jack being swallowed entirely by Delbert Grady(the former caretaker of the hotel, who murdered his family). He shows the sick and evil signs with his emotion and behaviors. HIS ACT IS JUST AMAZING. (by the way, Tony is super cute) Tony, Jack's son, has the ability to oversee something in the future (and past?) Anyways, Jack still runs out of his mind and starting to try to kill Tony and Wendy but he did not make it and died in the snow. This movie creates a super intense atmosphere with the music and the characters' act and change in behavior. I think despite of the most classic scene of Jack hacking at the door with an ax(REDRUM), to me one of the most memorable scene is when Wendy sees what Jack's been working on.(Jack's a writer) On the large pile of papers, there's only one sentence keeps on repeating: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. OH MY GOD it's just super creepy. 

3.Doctor Sleep 👎💤

        It's kind of the second episode of The Shining but everything has changed, which makes it bad.😇For example, the actors of Wendy and Tony changed and I always broke immersion with this. (the creepy feeling of Wendy disappeared) Second, Tony's ability of the shining turns into a super power??? Plus, there's some ridiculous scenes making me doubt my eyes. I just couldn't get it and I couldn't finish the film. 

4.The Nun ⭐⭐

        I personally think it's just not scary at all. BUT some scenes look really disgusting. Also, in this film, I don't think it tends to create intense feelings but to have jumpscares, which annoys me because I think they just want to scare people to death without more appropriate ways== AND THEY FAILED TO SCARE ME==

5.人面魚😑🐟

        I don't usually watch horror movies from Taiwan because I hate the evil feeling they create. Anyways, I watched it with my high school friends during lunch. IT IS THE FUNNIEST HORROR MOVIE I HAVE EVER WATCHED.(in a bad way) The story is probably about umm people would be cursed if they consume the fish. Okay I know they're trying to have a scary feeling. BUT I JUST COULDN'T GET WHY THEY KEEP ON MAKING THE FISH SAY: 魚肉好吃嗎?IN TAIWANESE. Like seriously, I laughed out tears every single time seeing the fake fish speaking Taiwanese. 

murmur: in conclusion, I would say zombie movies are safer😀👍🧟
